Labor Day hours
The W will be open Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 5), 7 a.m.-10 p.m.; however, there will be no child care or group fitness classes. The rock wall will be open 2-6 p.m., and the pool will be open for lap swim and vortex 7:30- 9 a.m. and 11 a.m-1 p.m., with open swim 2-6 p.m. We will return to regular facility hours Tuesday, Sept. 6, which are:

Mon.-Thurs. 5 a.m.-10 p.m.
Fri. 5 a.m.-8:30 p.m.
Sat. 7 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
Sun. 11 a.m.-10 p.m.
5:15-7:45 a.m. (vortex and lap swim only)
11 a.m.-1 p.m. (vortex and lap swim only)
4-8 p.m. (open swim)
7:30-9 a.m. (vortex and lap swim only)
11 a.m.-6 p.m. (open swim)

Climbing Wall Hours:

Child Care Hours:
Registration for fall fitness passes is under way. Passes are just $20 for a four-month pass that gets you into an unlimited number of classes, or you can pay just $7 dollars for a monthlong pass. Guest prices are $130 for four months and $35 for a month. New classes include Barre Blend, Fusion Fit, and Senior Mix. You can find a complete list on the website.

There is still time to register for several of our specialty classes that begin soon. Upcoming classes include:

Register now for the Best Dam Run
The W, in partnership with the Waverly Exchange Club, Waverly Health Center, and Scheels, is hosting the Best Dam Run to Prevent Child Abuse Saturday, Sept. 24. The half marathon begins at 8 a.m., and the 5K begins at 9 a.m. Both start from the Waverly Civic Center. Click here for more information and to register. All proceeds go to Waverly Exchange Club causes, which include Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Northeast Iowa Food Bank, Cedar Valley Friends of the Family, and Girls Little League Softball. The event is part of a weekend of activities celebrating Waverly's inaugural Oktoberfest.
