WAVERLY, Iowa – No. 20/25 Wartburg women's basketball clinched its 10
th American Rivers Conference regular season championship with a 71,-63 win over Coe College on Wednesday, Feb. 15. The Knights are now 20-4 overall and a perfect 15-0 in A-R-C play.

- First Quarter
- The Knights first basket came from a Britney Young three and then Sara Faber went 1/2 from the free throw line and then hit a three the following possession to put the Knights ahead 7-5 after almost four minutes of play
- Lauren Woeste scored back-to-back layups assisted by Macy Harris and Maggie Wilkins and then a Natalie Bearbower three pointer extended the lead to 14-8 with 3:36 left in the quarter
- Wartburg made three pointers on its next three possessions with Wilkins making two and Young making the other
- Coe scored the last seven points to make the score 23-15 Wartburg after the first quarter
- Second Quarter
- Woeste started the second with a layup and then the Kohawks answered with a three to cut the Wartburg lead to seven with 7:36 to play in the half
- Baskets from Faber and Woeste put the Knights back up by 10+ points with six minutes left in the half
- Wartburg closed the half on a 6-0 run to take a 37-20 lead into halftime
- Third Quarter
- The Knights lead got to 20 early in the third after a Taylor Runchey three pointer and a Harris layup
- Over the next three minutes Coe battled back and a three pointer cut the lead to 44-30 with 3:23 left in the third
- Baskets from Faber and Wilkins kept the Knights lead over 10, but Coe trailed by just 11 going into the fourth quarter
- Fourth Quarter
- Coe started the quarter with a layup to make the score 48-39 Wartburg, but the Knights responded with three pointers from Faber and Jaedon Murphy
- Faber connected again from deep with 6:59 to play and the Knights never looked back
- After three points from Wilkins and another triple from Murphy, Wartburg led 63-46 with 3:23 to play
- The lead got as high as 20, but the Knights closed out a 71-53 win at home
