When a Senate seat becomes vacant, this form will be used to elect and assign a new senator. We will fill each vacancy as soon as possible. The process is rolling so we consider applicants in the order they apply (first come, first served).

Academic Policies Committee: This committee is concerned with the academic welfare of the Student Body and the educational policy of the college. This committee also presents Staff, Advisor, and Faculty awards during the winter semester.

Student Relations Committee: This committee deals with all issues and events which directly affect student life. The committee keeps on top of campus issues, and after obtaining student opinion, act to make sure that all opinions are considered.

Political Action Committee: This committee works with current social and political events which present at Wartburg, in the community, and around the world. This committee also helps facilitate involvement in local, state, and national elections.

Budget Review Committee: This committee’s role is to decide on resolutions regarding expenditures of the Senate.

Diversity Committee: The committee shall serve as a resource and liaison between Student Senate and student organizations on issues related to diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion on campus. This committee works with MLK week, Culture week, and other campus-wide events throughout the year.
