Crowdfunding is the practice of funding a project or venture by raising money from a large number of people, typically via the Internet, social media, and word of mouth.
Crowdfunding campaigns that have strong engagement via social media and email are generally the most successful. Using the energy and enthusiasm of your department representatives or students can have a very strong impact on the results of the crowdfunding campaign. Please visit our Fund the Fortress page for more information on past projects that have been successful.
