MINNEAPOLIS — The Battle of the Burgs! Augsburg University took on Wartburg College of Waverly, Iowa for the annual “Battle of the Burgs” between the two NCAA Division III wrestling powerhouses. In the 125-pound class, Augsburg Junior, Victor Gliva beat Brady Kyner. Augsburg Senior, Sam Bennyhoff then took on Brock Rathbun (#1) in the 133-pound class and won 7 to 4. This one went down to the wire. Both teams won 5 bouts for 15-15 team score, but #3 Wartburg scrapes by with the win on a tiebreaker, 16-15.
