By filling out this interest form, you are indicating your willingness to be selected as an advisor for a Wartburg College Service Trip if the need arises. Many trip leaders seek out their own advisor for their trip, but some may request assistance from the Service Trips Executive Team to fill this role. That's where you come in!

As an advisor,  your role is to be supportive and engaged. Each advisor has a different way of getting involved with their group, but we recognize the best experiences occur when the advisor has made an effort to bond and build trust with the participants. Your leaders will take care of planning the trip, corresponding with the community partner, coordinating fundraising, organizing and planning group meetings, and developing and facilitating reflection opportunities. Your role is to assist in this process and be a resource to the leaders. Your leaders and participants will look to you for advice and support, and you will more than likely find yourself acting as a counselor when you least expect it. It will be important that you make every effort to empower the student leaders.

Upon submission of this form, you will be added to the 2020-2021 advisor list and will be contacted by the Service Trips Executive Team when the time comes.
