Recyclemania competition results |
This year, in the nationwide Recyclemania Competition, Wartburg placed 129th out of 159 schools with a diversion rate of 21.249%. Wartburg placed slightly higher in the Food Organics category, finishing 109th out of 148 competing schools. This is a 10 percentage point increase from last year (11.41% diversion rate). While we have improved significantly, this still means that only 21 percent of waste on campus is recycled or composted. We can do better! For more information about how to recycle on campus, click here or contact sustainability@wartburg.edu. |
