You are invited to mingle, play games and share stories with members of the Class of 2024 during this Wartburg tradition. A complimentary meal will be provided.

We will welcome the Class of 1974 back to campus with a breakfast in the W classrooms in the upper level of the Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center. Cost is $7 per person.

The W Classrooms, upper level of The Wartburg-Waverly Sports and Wellness Center

This will be an exploration of the virtues necessary for well-being across a full life led by Dr. Abbylynn Helgevold, Board of Regents Distinguished Professor in Ethics. Dr. Helgevold will draw from ethics classes she currently teaches on campus.

A section of tables have been reserved for the class. Frederick’s serves up temporary favorites in a casual dining atmosphere. You will order off the menu that evening and should expect entrees to be $10-20/person.

Hoover Field House and Track, The W

Members of the Class of 1974 and their spouse/guest are invited to be a part of the processional and be recognized at Wartburg College’s 172nd Commencement Exercises, 50 years after participating in the 122nd Commencement Exercises as graduating seniors.

NOTE: Those wishing to participate in the processional, and have reserved seating, will meet in the Center Court of The W at 10 a.m. to get lined up. Following the ceremony, those participating will recess after the faculty and join them in congratulating members of the Class of 2024 as they exit The W. Following commencement there will be a reception on the Campus Mall for all who attended.

*No spike-heeled shoes are allowed in the Hoover Field House and Track.
